Advice

Girl remade my chutte pants. Different sculpts but same idea. I got to her store and she's wearing my pants in her ads as well as loads of other stuff.

Question is, should I ban her? Because Fade said she's had similar experiences with this girl copying her ideas.

I say yes. While it's highly possible for two people to have the same idea for a design, it is usually the execution that differs. If you think of it, there are only so many ways to make the basic design for a ball gown, but once you start doing the details, that's where it becomes something unique.

So if her pants look enough like yours where the two could be confused, I say ban her.

The thing is.. she owns the pants I made that are like the ones she made too...

Which is always the cincher in these situations for me.

If you haven't already spoke to her, I think it would be a good idea rather then just hastily rushing into a decision of banning after known the fact that she supports and or likes your items enough to buy a bunch of them just in case it was a mistake or she admits that she just wanted to do a similar style but has no problem with taking it down since it was butchered from your idea.

If it doesn't go over well then yes, you should ban her cause only nubz that aren't worth your time reacted retarded-like.

Anyways, hope it goes well.

Meh, I'm not going to, I'm just going to watch her. Her items are her own, except uh the hat that is like one of Fades.

I really don't want to even IM the person. I've had so much retarded drama over the last person I banned for coping my shit.

That's kind of sad. While I've had a few instances where I would want to remake something for my personal use, because I don't like a specific aspect of the other person's work, it would be for personal use. Putting it up for sale is kind of crossing a line.

Maybe keep an eye on her, and if she does it again with someone else's work, reconsider?

She wears YOUR creation in her ads for the one she supposedly made?
If anything, that's completely unethical and misguiding costumers.

No, she wears her version in her ad for it.

But in her other ads for like shirts and stuff she is wearing my version.

Which means she owns mine, it's not like she was unaware of it and happened to have the same idea.
